Biovin

The natural amendment for healthy soil.
100% ORGANIC SOIL IMPROVER WITH SILICON.
FOR STRONGER AND HEALTHIER PLANTS.

Short Technical Description
The process of “Regulated Grape Mark Composting” allows the humification of grape mark which is available in large quantities as a by-product of wine-making. The regulated fermentation ensures a succession of microorganisms (Streichsbier et al., 1982) starting with yeasts which, by autolysis and subsequent binding of the residual alcohol by esterifying reactions, enable rapid appearance of a mixed population of bacteria. The temperature increase continued by by this bacterial flora favours growth of a thermophilic fungal flora (dominated by Thermomyces sp.) which is mainly responsible for the decomposition process. In the last phase a mixed population of bacteria such as Streptomycetes and natural soil fungi is taking over and finalizing humification and production of plant hormones affecting growth and resistance (see next chapter). The fermented product is dried and granulated and can be stored for several years without losing quality.

The organic base of Biovin consists of grape mark (organic remains of grape pressing) The strict control on the fermentation process of this waste that’s rich in sugars results into a controlled bacterial production of effective growth factors (auxines), organic plant nutrients and billions of active and beneficial micro-organisms. Among these are the important nitrogen fixating bacteria (actinomycetes) and SAR-microbes (Systemic Acquired Resistance), or resistance to plant threatening organisms. Another important aspect is that Biovin plays an important role in stimulating mycorrhizal relationships to create a living interface between roots and soil Biovin is a certified organic fertilizer / soil improver in Zwitserland, Germany, The Netherlands, Greece, Austria and many other European countries for use in certified organic and conventional farming schemes. Biovin is a product that always goes through the same process of humification.
Biovin can be used as a true soil improvement in all soil-depending production, landscaping, hydroseeding and landreclamation Ever since it’s invention in 1974, a minimum of 45 scientific reports are published. All results have in common that Biovin increases the uptake of minerals and prevent nitrogen from leaching. Nitrate is being transformed back into nitrite and ammonium. This cycle is repeated over and over.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
800 – 1000 kilo/ ha or 0,5-1% volume by weight as substrate mix for all potting soils.
3-5% mix for top dressing or in complete sand based mixes for greens and sportfields

ADVANTAGES OF BIOVIN:
 Is a perfect basis for the Plant Health Care agricultural programs and for PHC’s grass program.
 Stimulates development and symbiotic activity of mycorrhizae
 Stimulates plant health and resistance (SAR= Systemic acquired resistance)
 Stimulates growth and functionality of beneficial soil/ root bacteria
 Natural organic fertilizer (3:1:2)
 Guaranteed free of diseases or weeds
 Avoids nitrate leaching to ground water and keeps minerals available for plants.

USE IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER PHC PRODUCTS
– Sportsturf , golfgreens and plant borders
Mix 5% Biovin with Top-Dressing sand. Combine with regular use of PHC FLEXX. As additional stress relief for turf. Spread in spring and fall 100 gram per m2 . Irrigate with water.
– Container plants
0,5-1% Biovin (5-10 kilo/m3) mix with potting substrate
For mycorrhizal colonisation add PHC VA Cocktail (Media Mix) together with Biovin in the substrate.
– Seedbeds
10 kg Biovin per 100m².

Mykosoil

MYKOSOIL LH

MYKO is a bioactive substance adjuvant to improve soil structure.
MYKO is a preparation of humic acids produced from lignin, 100% soluble, applied to soil or foliage. It looks like a scaly powder containing 90% humic acid salt, high in potassium salts and a specific flavor of vanilla. In addition, the product contains micro and macro elements.
Chemically, it is composed of micro and macromoleculars particles, whics are acting directly or indirectly on plants. Micromoleculars components of the product may be absorbed directly by the plant, through the leaf (foliage way). In contrast, macromolecular compounds act on the ground, among others, as a form of humus.

MYKO is used in all areas of agriculture, forestry and gardening. It can be used both alone, and in combination with chemical fertilizers and plant protection substances.
Its action leads to increased production and improved quality. Improves taste properties, increase product stability and content of vitamins, proteins, etc..
MYKO is not a fertilizer.
But fertilizers enhances absorption and increases efficiency.
A lengthy application improves soil structure, increase soil water storage capacity and prevents removal by washing nutrients.
Contribute to the development of stable humus, improving soil fertility.

MYKO supports root growth and development (meristem formation) or the development of a biological system upper soil by increasing its microbiological activity.
MYKO provides a rapid growth and improves plant health plant, contributing to the reduction of plant infestation with most fungal diseases.
MYKO is a fungicide.
When applying fungicides in combination with substances, reduce stress symptoms that occur after treatment and increases their effectiveness.
MYKO reduce susceptibility to stress caused by drought and frost.
MYKO can be mixed and used in combination with any type of fertilizer that chemical substances or environmental protection.

WARNING! Except selective herbicides

Dosing Recommendations:

Agriculture:
• 300 g MYKO / ha in a single application of 2 to 3 times per season;
• dose is reduced to 200 g / ha, with a single application per season, where light soils
• 60-90 g MYKO / ha, in combination with fertilizer application and plant substances

Horticulture:
• 50 g MYKO / 100 l water once a week as root and foliar application;
• In sensitive plants, 20 g MYKO / 100 l water or solution for foliar application

If users small amounts , Pentre better dosing is recommended MYKO-SOIL LH B in liquid (solution containing 12% MYKO ).

Other general guidelines:
Mixing MYKO with fertilizer or plant solutions, you should first dissolve MYKO in water to avoid precipitation reactions and to lower the pH.
Application in combination with phytohormones and / or microbial products, led partly to a smaller product required and even higher efficiency. On request, we are happy to inform you provided to other special modes of application.

• 80-100 g / m³ soil (substrate)
• compost 10 g / 10 l, of which 3.5 l / m² every new layer spread
• Lawn and Turf Course, 300-600 g / ha / year
• hydroponics, 0.005% – 0.001% of solution
